Pat Reeder of The Comedy Wire pointed out that employing a restaurant food taster is not unusual for a Chicago politician. Most of them keep one such man on the payroll, and he also doubles as the guy who checks the restrooms for hidden weapons.
Reeder also noted that offering this job might be a way to bring Rush Limbaugh on board with the administration. Personally, I think Limbaugh should be head of the FDA. Is there anyone on the planet who is better acquainted with food and drugs?
