He had 500+ yards passing, including a game winner with no seconds left on the clock, to beat the Pack 37-36. He's only the tenth QB in history to have 500 yards passing in a single game. Nobody has ever passed for more than the 554 yards accumulated by Norm Van Brocklin in a game nearly 60 years ago. The closest anyone has come is Warren Moon's 527 against the Chiefs in 1990.Van Brocklin set that record on opening day in 1951. He managed 554 yards and 5 TDs with only 41 attempts in a 54-14 victory. Four of those TDs were caught by the legendary Crazy Legs Hirsch.
The capper to the story? Van Brocklin was the back-up quarterback! He only started one other game that year, and that was a loss in which he went an embarrassing 12 for 33!

NFL Game Center: Green Bay Packers at Pittsburgh Steelers - 2009 Week 15
Roethlisberger has a game for the ages.
And I started Drew Brees instead of Roethlisberger in my stupid fantasy football league.
