Well, they do have big feet.
I should warn you that you should not try this at home. These are not ordinary clowns. The article specifies that the hospital used:
"two professionally trained, university accredited medical clowns from Israel."That's right, they are Jewish medical clowns, and have been fully educated, licensed and accredited as such! The clowns graduated with bachelors of arts degrees in theatre and therapy for medical clowns from Haifa University in Israel, and continued their studies in theatre school in Paris. Haifa University is now creating a Masters program in medical clowning.
WARNING: Although they also come from the Middle East and work much cheaper, the competing group of radical Moslem medical clowns does not constitute a solid budget-priced alternative to Jewish medical clowns. Oh, yeah all comics say their act kills, but they mean it in a different sense.
By the way, this clown fertilization method is not just some clowning around. The technique has been scientifically proven:
"In a study of 219 women undergoing in vitro fertilization treatments, 36 per cent of the women entertained for 15 minutes by a medical clown following the implantation of the embryo became pregnant, compared with 20 per cent for those who were not. The study, led by Dr. Shevach Friedler of the Assaf Harofeh Medical Centre in Israel, was published in the journal Fertility and Sterility."How did I miss that article? I guess I spent too much time on the centerfold. Or maybe my postman is hijacking my copy of Fertility and Sterility - again!
