But here's the quirk: getting the fish oil from the actual fish is beneficial, but getting it from pills is not. Sorry, Americans, you can't get the benefit from a burger and a fish oil capsule. You'll actually have to eat the fuckin' herring instead.

I watch NBC Nightly News last night and their take on this story was not the same. They had a doc on there specifically stating it's good to take it and there is "significant evidence" that it reduces the chance for "Heart related deaths." I'm sure the video report is up on their website somewhere. Watching that, I concluded I will keep on taking it. Reading the USA Today story, maybe not so much... What a pain in the ass.
