Despite Esquire Story's Claims, the SEAL Who Shot Osama Has Access to Health Care

Despite Esquire Story's Claims, the SEAL Who Shot Osama Has Access to Health Care
"Like other Iraq and Afghanistan veterans, asserts McCloskey, the SEAL is eligible for five years of free medical care upon retirement, a fact Esquire writer Phil Bronstein left out of his piece.

McCloskey called Bronstein, who is also the head of the Center for Investigative Reporting, who told her he omitted the availability of the veteran health benefits because 'that's a different story.'"

In other words, he lied to tell the story he wanted to tell, rather than the "different story," also known as the truth.

  2. What I would like to know is why is the Free Health Care for retired military now limited to only five years. The promise to our service people has always been free health care after retirement forever. If you give a lifetime's service to our country then you get the rest of that lifetime's health care for free. I guess Obama has other uses for that money, huh?
