No, they won't. They're keeping IE. For 'backwards compatibility'. MANY companies have apps built for IE. (I work for one...massive electronics company that has their entire intranet built around IE.) To kill it is to kill those apps, so that won't happen. IE won't disappear completely for years, if ever.
