If you are a member at The Fun House, you do not need to obtain the film clips from the sharing sites. They are all available in the members' area, of course - along with 44,000 other clips and more than a million pictures. (Things really pile up when you write a blog page every day for more than 7000 consecutive days!)

I can't imagine how Raquel MartÃnez didn't feature in the top 20.
ReplyDeleteThat was probably the best nudity of the year, but: (1) nobody really noticed; (2) she's unknown to the voters. Typically the big vote getters are long-time TV or film stars with high name recognition who do their first nudity.
ReplyDeleteOr if you're semi-known and do explicit nudity with the highest quality assets, you get a win.
DeleteAt least people were smart enough to not vote for Lena Headey in Game of Thrones or Allison Cocktease Williams on Girls, unlike Mr. Skin.
ReplyDeleteI missed the poll and didn't see an announcement. Truthfully though, this year's nudity batch was so underwhelming that I probably wouldn't have cared to vote. And this isn't even in comparison to last year's epic one two punch.
It was an uninspiring group this year.

A sure-fire general formula for finishing high: (1) Work on TV or somewhere else in public eye (movies, comedy specials, e.g.) for many years without exposing any flesh, then do a first-time nude role.
Details: (2) The younger you were when the public first became aware of you, the higher you'll finish. (3) The more you show, the higher you'll finish.
Having noted that, there are always exceptions when a nude scene really makes a splash. Rosario Dawson was an experienced, mature actress who had done prior nude scenes, but she won anyway because people were just blown away by that scene in Trance.
Rosario wasn't really an exception. She fell into the "more you show" with Trance with her shaved full frontal.

ReplyDeleteI'm kinda iffy on the idea of the formula working with Allison Williams. Because when/if she does get naked, I've got a strong feeling we're gonna be disturbed by her increasingly freakishly skinny body brought on by unnecessary crash dieting since the beginning of Girls. I don't really care to see her naked because she's way too vanilla to be worth any attention. She's on a show that's gained more detractors than fans as time has gone by and is merely coasting on her disgraced daddy's name.
ReplyDeleteRosabell Laurenti Sellers' showing has a simple explanation: former child star. Not so much over here, but apparently big in Europe. Always hits the charts, every time a former child actress gets naked for the first time, no matter how obscure.
