NCAAF College Football Scores - Week 14
The top four all won or sat out, so we shouldn't expect any changes.
I suppose the Penn State lads will be the ones on the outside looking in after their amazing come-from-behind victory over Wisconsin. The Badgers had a 28-7 lead at one point. I think you can argue that Penn State, as the conference champion, should be in the playoff instead of Ohio State, especially since Penn State won their head-to-head game in Columbus. That's a decent argument, but I doubt if it will hold water. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
I posted here a few weeks ago that Ohio State was going to be in this 'beauty contest' they so laughingly refer to as a "Playoff". Until we get a solid - head to head, win/loss playoff - similar to the Final Four, NCAA College football will continue to be a second class sport, even though it creates more ad revenue for the networks than any other sport.
ReplyDeletePenn State has two losses OSU has one. If PSU wanted the head to head to matter then they shouldn't have lost to PITT.
