Amazing. And I never thought I would ever finding myself agreeing with Shirley (The Constitution has served this country very well for the last 400 years!) Jackson, I have to say that she is right in this one. This bill is wrong-headed in nearly every way.
I gotta think this is a theater vote. Something that lets Congress go back home and say they cracked down on child porn when they made the bill so toxic that the Senate won't even consider it. Now, if the Senate passes this shit sandwich, we have (further) reason to declare them all insane. The fact that anyone still thinks federal prosecution of strictly local affairs and mandatory minimums are good things astounds me.
