That is an ageist slur. You don't have to be old to be senile. Just cos he's old (which he clearly is) and senile now doesn't mean he was young and lucid before.
No, just the dictionary definition. You can't be young and senile by definition. Senile means "having or showing the weaknesses or diseases of old age, especially a loss of mental faculties." So a young person with the same characteristics would be called dotty or feeble-minded, but not senile. A young person could suffer from "premature senility," but that simply means "showing the decline of old age inappropriately early." So I guess the dictionary is ageist. Anyway, Trump wasn't prematurely senile. He was (and is) just a major douchebag, utterly self-centered, arrogant and self-important.
