John J. Pitney Jr. on Howard Dean on National Review Online. The article is not especially interesting, but it makes the point that Dean fails to excite black voters, who are normally Democratic, and it has one great line: "Dean rallies are whiter than the Stockholm chapter of the Barry Manilow Fan Club."
