The crazy phenomenon of Stiltsville. Everyone who loves Miami remembers some houses that sit out in the water, in the middle of Biscayne Bay, off Miami's shoreline, just south of Key Biscayne. There were two dozen or more structures at one time, and their reputation includes some unsavory stories of gambling and bootlegging, but hurricanes have reduced the number to seven.
