Box Office Mojo - Around the World in 9th Place on Friday. The family-friendly adventure opened with a lame $762 per screen, grossing only two million dollars on Friday despite a 2800 screen rollout. Ben Stiller's Dodgeball, despite being on fewer screens than Around the World, took first place for Friday, beating the next two films added together. The Terminal was in a distant second place with six million, disappointing in light of a Spielberg/Hanks collaboration. Harry Potter, in its third weekend, and Shrek 2, in its fifth, took the next two spots.
