Weekend Box Office June 18-20, 2004. The big stories of the weekend: (1) Around the World in 80 Days, budgeted over $100 million, opened in 9th place (2) The modestly budgeted Dodgeball opened in the top spot, beating Spielberg, Potter, and the Ogre, all of which were in more theaters. (3) Shrek hangs in there for fourth place in its fifth weekend, and is now at $378 million
