Fahrenheit 9/11 expands to 1700 screens. Balancing the books:
  • Between them, F911 and Spidey-2 took 5000 screens this weekend. (The remaining new releases are insignificant: 190 screens for four films!)
  • The largest chunk of those additional screens came from Around the World in 80 Days, which lost 1500 screens. In essence, four other films contributed almost all of the remaining 3500 (Stepford 1000, Riddick 1000, Potter 700, Day after Tomorrow 700)
