- Here has what has happened in recent state polls:(1) New Mexico from barely Bush to strong Kerry (???!!!) (2) Wisconsin from weak Bush to barely Kerry (3) Arkansas from barely Bush to undecided (4) Pennsylvania, Florida, and New Jersey from barely Bush to barely Kerry (5) and, on the other side of the ledger, Maryland from weak Kerry to undecided.
This election is going to be a toss-up. I definetly want Kerry to win, but I know that its goling to be very close. One thing I'm sure of is that Maryland is going Kerry. I live there and I see no evidence that Maryland is suddenly divided. Its been solidly Democratic in the majority of elections unless the whole country leaned Republican (1988, etc.).
