The good news: a real $10,000 bill is available at e-bay. The bad news: It will cost you at least $74,000. The decent news: at least you can see what one looks like. The picture on the bill is Salmon P Chase, who was Lincoln's first Secretary of the Treasury during the Civil War, and was the driving force behind the establishment of the national banking system. He also may be the greatest American named after a game fish, possibly excepting explorer Zebulon Pike, former newsman Robert Trout, former major league pitcher Norm Bass, and former Presidential candidate and John Kerry look-alike, Edmund Muskie.
