Brad Pitt is secretly coaching Matt Damon to become the Sexiest Man Alive. Pitt, Clooney, and Damon are buddies, and the former two have been chosen for that honor in the past, so they are giving Damon a rasher of shit about losing out. Pitt is obviously being facetious with his remarks, but the article doesn't seem to full grasp that.
