GALLUP analyzes a tricky one for the President: Roe vs Wade.
President Bush will have to appoint new Supreme Court justices - and 80% of Americans favor abortion rights in at least some circumstances, yet Bush must feel some obligation to the religious conservatives that elected him. This may be the most divisive issue in America. 47% of self-identified liberals feel that abortion should be legal in all circumstances, compared to a mere 13% of self-identified conservatives.
