Hey, second anonymous guy - thanks for the very nice words - much appreciated - but I think you probably overreacted. I think his comment was reasonable. He wasn't nasty, just expressing frustration that we're still talking about her, even though the joke is getting old.
I thought that, too, but the letter really made me laugh, because it was so damned close to what I imagined, so I linked it!!
I don't really have a problem attacking someone who is voluntarily in the public eye. Paris Hilton is fair game, for example.
But you can overdo it. Miers' has left the public stage, so I don't find the jokes funny anymore. I don't like kicking people once they're down.
Scoopy has discretion in what he posts, so I just thought I'd throw in my two cents. I agree that othercrap is that rare blog that combines humor, solid news, and a little naughtiness to boot. A read it a lot. It's a lot better than that Gawker/Wonkette crap, let me tell you.
Geez, the lady has withdrawn. Give her a break.
