Manina is a movie which is noteworthy only because it presented La Bardot to France, and includes a very brief bit of nudity. (Rare for a mass-audience 1952 movie. Vive la France!). There is a new Australian DVD (all region, PAL) which presents the film on DVD cfor the first time with English subtitles. It is also quite a good transfer, better than the Franch Region 2 release. The quality is damned good, considering that the source material is a 54-year-old grade B movie.
