As expected, Santana was the unanimous choice for AL Cy Young Award

• The amazing thing about this is that Santana was the unanimous choice as the best pitcher in the league, yet he was NOT the best pitcher on his own team! Look at their stats side-by-side. Liriano schooled him in every single important category except innings pitched. Assuming Liriano's surgery (last week) goes as planned, those Twins will be a force to reckon with. Santana is only 27, and Liriano is a mere 23!
