Oprah and J.K. Rowling are 1-2, and that makes sense because they are at the top of highly profitable enterprises. Some of the others are inexplicable. People keep paying Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock vast amounts of money to make money-losing films. Can anyone remember the last Nicole Kidman movie that didn't bomb at the box office?
