I'm not one of those old guys who misses the old days, but I do miss the old-fashioned Miss Americas and USAs who quoted from Jesus and wanted to win so they could meet Pat Boone. They usually said they would be virgins on their wedding day. Those women were a real piece of Americana. Now they quote from the Marquis de Sade and have Colombian drug lords on speed dial.
