Who is the smartest person in the world (measured by IQ)? A blue collar guy from Montana. Here is his Wikipedia entry, and the following is an interview with him.

One reader wrote in to say, "I'm calling bullshit on the Super-IQ article. A closer inspection reveals that he’s been editing his own Wikipedia entry (see discussion page). That and he’s an Intelligent Design advocate, which is a dead giveaway in and of itself."

WEBMASTER'S NOTE: I looked at the lawsuit filed against Langan by The Mega Society, and it seems clear that he really was a member of their group at one time. Before admitting someone, they require evidence that the prospective member possesses an IQ at a level achieved by only one person in a million. So while it may not be possible to certify Langan as the smartest guy in the world, he definitely must be one smart mofo.
