No link, just an interesting stat for you baseball fans. On Jamie Moyer's 30th birthday, his lifetime record was 34-54, he hadn't pitched a major league inning in almost two full years, and his last 26 ML decisions were 6-20. Plus he was a 160 pound guy with an 82 MPH fastball.


What kind of odds do you think they'd gave given you if you wanted to bet he'd win 200 games?


His lifetime record is 216-166, which is not HOF level, but is not so very far off. Amazin'! Who knows? He may make it yet. Even though he's 44 years old, he has a multi-year contract! (Hey, it's not like he's gonna lose his heater.)
