The suits at SONY are at war with Revolution Studios. Revolution is at war with director Julie Taymor. The screenings of Taymor's cut have been disastrous, but the screening of a much shorter editor's cut was received positively, so Revolution is toying with the notion of takling the film from her. Meanwhile, SONY is toying with the notion of taking their large write-off (A hundred million dollars?? Nobody seems to know.) and not releasing the film at all.There is a trailer available, but it seems fairly linear and only hints at the problems outlined in the article.
