My all-time Marvel comic was the cross-over between Sub-Mariner and the Pope John Paul 2 comic. They were duking it out on the steps of St Peter's, their powers waning, and the victory would ultimately go to the one who could reach the holy water first.By the way, although my cross-over is imaginary, the pope's Marvel comic book did exist. My ultra-religious uncle, Incredibly Rich Admiral Uncle Dick, actually gave this very issue to my sons one year. You have to love the little picture of Spider-Man on the bottom left.
