Lohan's life is spinning so far out of control that she's being irresponsible even by being responsible. She undoubtedly needs a real stint in rehab, instead of that phony-baloney thing she did last time, but she was also scheduled to start a film this week, and that producer and director are not going to be happy campers.

Given the last-minute timing of this move, the difficulty of arranging locations, and the fact that all the other actors have planned on this particular schedule, it would not be surprising to see Lohan replaced.

She's starting to head into that territory carved by divas of legendary irresponsibility like Lisa Bonet. One cannot get away with disrupting film schedules for long before the phone simply stops ringing. Sure she's talented and attractive, but she's not irreplaceable.
