Peanut allergy overdiagnosed - National - BrisbaneTimes - brisbanetimes.com.au

Peanut allergy, and those who gave their lives for science
In recent years, fears of deadly peanut allergies have caused peanut butter to be banned from schools, like guns and drugs. But Australia's Sydney Children's Hospital tested 84 kids who were actually diagnosed with peanut allergies and found that one-third of them had no reaction at all when fed peanuts.

Funerals for the other 2/3 will be held next week.
