Gee, I wonder which state this took place in.

One of the recurring characters on The Abominable Showman was "Van" Vandervanden, whose Wisconsin Corner segment presented field reports. One of my favorites was from a gas station in Little Chute, Wisconsin (where the cheesy Mount Rushmore originated). The station had a monstrous canopy above the pumps, and written on the canopy in massive letters was a litany of all the necessities of life that can be supplied by a c-store: gas, cigarettes, beer ... cheese. Only in Wisconsin.
