No special surprises relative to the predictions in the specifics, but Evan Almighty failed to make even the modest projections, and will certainly fall short of $100 million, which will raise some eyebrows in the boardroom when they see the budget (reported to have ballooned to about $175m.) Its predecessor, Bruce Almighty, opened with nearly $70 million on the way to almost $250m.

Nothing exciting to report in the aggregate either. The overall weekend was almost identical to last year for the second week in a row.

I've added a new analyst to the chart. I don't really know who KJ is, but I noticed that his predictions are just about the most accurate of all the experts week after week, and that his reasoning is generally quite convincing, so he's now one of the official barometers.
