List of colors - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

List of colors - Wikipedia
It's about time somebody created this list online. It's a table with the names of colors, a representative swatch, and the correct numerical representations in several systems. (Hex and RGB, for example).

If you're like me (and most guys), you can never remember exactly what Mauve, Puce, Fuchsia, Taupe, and Periwinkle look like, and don't see the need to memorize the info because it might displace more important info, like George Brett's batting average in 1980. In the past, there has been no convenient place to look this up when the info is required quickly, like when somebody asks important questions, like "What color were Batman's tights in the Adam West series?" (Silver is the closest, I guess. I color-sampled it at 188/189/191, and Silver is 180/180/180)
