Ang Lee's new film wins the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival
Lee's film is an erotic thriller. (Looks gorgeous, but I'm not sure how thrilling it is. I nearly fell asleep during the trailer.)

"The award for best actor went to Brad Pitt for his performance in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, directed by Andrew Dominik. Cate Blanchett won the best actress prize for her role in (Todd) Haynes's I'm Not There." (She plays Bob Dylan)
