"Bill Clinton is threatening legal action against a Manhattan restaurant if it does not immediately yank a photo of the former president's daughter Chelsea from the eatery's front window."

This is a strange one, and makes Clinton seem like a total hillbilly. It's just one of those "celebrity ate here" pics that adorn many NY restaurants, a pic of Chelsea and the restaurant's owner, and is one of many such pics in the restaurants. Any sensible person can distinguish between a "Kilroy was here" pic and an endorsement of the establishment.

Furthermore, the threatening letter says that Chelsea was not consulted before the picture was displayed and did not give her permission. Well ... if you walk into a restaurant that is plastered with pictures of celebrities and the owner, and you pose for a photo with the owner ... I'd say that is both consultation and permission! Obviously, she knew what the picture would be used for, and she was free to refuse to pose.
