And he probably should be indicted for general stupidity, given that he managed to lie under oath despite the fact that he was given immunity!!

"Bonds was called before the grand jury investigating the Bay Area Laboratory Cooperative, or BALCO, and was given immunity from prosecution. But he was warned that if he failed to tell the truth he could be indicted for lying under oath.

He was indicted by a FEDERAL grand jury, so it's possible that San Quentin will have a really good ball team next year.

Pete Rose has served a few months in the slammer, so Baseball now faces the sour prospect of having both its all time hits leader and its all time homer leader be jailbirds.
