Stick a fork in Fred Thompson.

As we say in Tejas, it's time for Fred to call in the hounds and piss on the fire, cuz the hunt is over.

Fred has fallen to sixth in New Hampshire. He wasn't expected to win there, but he's dropped from 13% to 4% (below the margin of error), and is now running below Huckleberry and The Chosen One of the internet, Ron Paul. Paul has climbed to 8%, and is now in fourth place.

Among the front runners, Mitt is kicking Rudy's ass. In the previous CNN poll, Romney was ahead of Giuliani 25-24. His lead is now 33-16. In fact, Rudy has dropped to third behind McCain.

However, Fred's wife is still the preferred ReCWILF among 105% of the electorate, with a margin of error of 5%.
