You ain't gonna believe this one. The kid was essentially suspended for being a boy scout. Here is the context: the kids in the band were discussing the best knots to tie up the band equipment. One kid asked Travis if he knew how to tie a noose. Travis, who is very close to becoming an Eagle Scout, is a wizard with knots and admitted he knew how, but refused to do so because it could get him in trouble! Somebody overheard to conversation and ... BAM ... suspension for Travis and his evil co-conspirator!

Best of all - the two boys were suspended before anyone asked them to explain their side of the story!
