I knew him a bit. When I was first working with 7-Eleven at a store in Miami, he came in to chat late at night when there was nobody there to recognize him. He once insisted on giving me a ride in a new car he had just bought. We were just kids then. I was 23 and he was only about two years older. That connection lasted only a month or so. I got promoted and never saw him again.Because of that very brief connection, I followed his career and his life, and I have to say he blew it. He's a guy with a very inventive mind, a quick wit, charm, a shitload of brainpower, and the speaking ability of a professional orator. He was cocky, but complicated, and a good guy. He was also one of the biggest stars of the 17-0 Dolphins, as he and Csonka became the first teammates ever to rush for 1000 yards each.
This guy should have owned the world. With his looks, talent, and brains he should have been a senator or a CEO or a TV commentator or a nationally respected civil rights spokesman. Instead he headed into prison for three years, only about a decade after the undefeated season, when he was still in his mid thirties. He is still fighting legal battles related to his case.
There's a lesson for you kids. No matter how much talent you have, cocaine will suck it all away. And your money with it.

Eugene Morris is a total scumbag. He is a scam artist who does not work. His job is scamming people out of money by befriending them and them telling them about pending law suits that really do not exist. He then borrows money and insist that he will return it 10 fold when his suit comes in, which it never will. and he is also preying on blonde haired white women, who he cons into investing in his pending law suit. Also, he has sold his super bowl rings how many times? Had them stolen how many times? Total Scumbag
