Y'know I have a bone to pick with Lady Liberty and her invitation to the poor, the tired, and the huddled masses yearning to breathe free.OK, the poor I can accept, because somebody has to pick fruit and sell Slurpees. And the huddled masses we need because soccer is becoming more popular here and Beckham needs opponents.
But why are we inviting the tired? I mean tired people are always cranky. Why can't they just get a nap in their own country before coming here? Our American napping infrastructure is already stretched to the limit, and I don't think it is fair to ask the American taxpayers to pay for additional cots and hammocks.
