Some people are touting boxer Edwin Valero as the greatest fighter ever. His record is 23-0, all knockouts. But that's not the half of it. His first 18 pro fights were all first round knockouts. In the fight where he won the world championship, he knocked down the world champion twice in the first round, finally finishing him off by TKO. That was a year ago, and the former champ has not fought since. (He is now in jail.) His absence leaves Valero with no worthy challenger. In yesterday's title defense he just used his opponent as a punching bag, and seemed to be getting bored with it when the ref stopped the fight.
