South Carolina Democratic Presidential Primary Preference

A graph of the Obama numbers would look like a roller coaster track. He has gone from 10 to 33, back down to 19, then up to 44.

I was surprised to see that Edwards has sunk steadily in this state, from 31 to a current 9. He was born in South Carolina, raised in North Carolina, and won the same primary in 2004. The explanation may lie in the fact that about half of South Carolina's Democrats are black, and they seem to be splitting up between Obama and Clinton, ignoring haircut-boy.
