Dave Barry's thoughts on St. Paddy's Day

Very funny column and also, in its way, very accurate. Ireland is not an especially interesting place to visit in terms of tourist attractions, but the Irish must be the nicest people in the world, and I had fun there every day and night, whether working or playing.

Only one bit of advice to add to Dave's. If you go there, eat a big meal on the plane, because that airplane food is far better than the best food in Ireland. It's no wonder they drink so much whiskey and Guinness. It's their only edible source of nourishment.
