Gallup Daily: Obama Edges Ahead of Clinton

It appears that Obama has weathered the storm
His poll numbers dropped every day from the release of the Reverend Wright story until his Philadelphia Address. He went from +6 versus Hillary to -7.

Since the speech, however, he has climbed every day, and is now back ahead by three.

Richardson's endorsement may have helped because Obama's numbers ascended more steeply after the endorsement than they had the previous two days, but it would be statistically inappropriate to reach a firm conclusion about that. Differences of a single point may be indicators, but they also could result from the expected range of error.
