She's always had a tendency to put on weight unless she watches it like a hawk. I remember reading that when Liv was filming Lord of the Rings she was contractually required to keep her weight at 129 or less, which is pretty damned thin for a 5'10" woman. Since then she seems to have made up for all the meals she had to skip in New Zealand, and she's also 30 years old now and had a baby in 2004. The matter is further complicated by the fact that her sister is obese, indicating some bad history in her nature or nurture or both.
