As you may have noticed, none of the three wide releases were pre-screened for critics. Now we know why:
- Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns: 2000 theaters, 33% positive reviews. (At least the 27th Tyler Perry film this year.)
- Drillbit Taylor: 3000 theaters, 24% positive reviews. (Owen Wilson comedy.)
- Shutter: 2700 theaters, 6% positive reviews. (Remake of Thai horror/thriller.)
