St Patrick's Day is being moved | calendar, Church Year | Liturgy

Happy St Patrick's Day
You probably think St Paddy's Day is Monday. It's always March 17th, right? Wrong. Because Easter is a movable feast day, every century or so St Patrick's Day has to be moved out of Holy Week. The last time it happened was 1940. The next time is 2160. Unless you are 69 or older, this will be the only occasion in your lifetime when St Paddy's day falls on any date other than the 17th. (If you are in Australia, it's already long over. It was Friday!)
