I am fortunate to have no friends, classmates, or close acquaintances on the list. I know many guys who went to Vietnam and they all came back. One of them did come back without his legs, but the others came back fully intact. Even the guy who lost his legs had a fairly happy ending. He went on to get advanced degrees, married, had kids, and became quite successful.
