Indians catcher Kelly Shoppach tied a major league record Wednesday night with five extra-base hits in a game.

Nobody has ever managed six extra-base hits in a game. It's only the second time anyone has reached five EBH in a game since the American League began at the start of the 20th century!

It has been done six times in the 133-year history of the NL.
