I learned my lesson in betting on the Olympics. I bet the Really Rotten team several times, and they were just about to win each time until some last minute heroics from the Yogis or Scoobys turned the tide. But I kept betting them because I thought they were due. Only years later did I find out that Mumbly was in the tank, having to throw game after game to pay off his own markers to the mob.
